Software Developer (ID#4547)

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Software Developer to help our client develop one or more parts of the application systems (systems of engagement and/or systems of record) and integration with other systems, including designing it to fit into the architecture, prototyping the user interface, implementing, unit-testing, and integrating the components that are part of the solution. Responsibilities:Perform high complexity workParticipate in activities that support the team's delivery and continuous improvement through assisting other roles with their work, mentoring, and promoting a respectful and collaborative cultureRequirements:5+ years of experience working as a Software Developer3+ years of equivalent work experience in IT3+ years of relevant work experience with agile methodologies and cloud, and DevOps environmentsExperience with Microsoft Stack with technologies and frameworks like .NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL, XUnit, NUnit, Entity Framework, TDD, and Azure. Exposure to microservices is preferred.Experience with frontend development such as ASP.net Core, Razor components, Angular 16 and up, HTML, CSS, and JQuery are desirable assetsDynamics experience will be considered an assetExposure to ASP.net Core Blazor, .net MAUI would be nice to have as assetsExperience participating in all activities that support consistent, and high-quality team deliveryExperience in both small team and medium complexity enterprise scale environments and accustomed to collaborating with interdependent teams and removing impediments is an assetExperience testing code (manually and automated) all the way through to production, as well as document tests for audit and reusabilityKnowledge about the business and build an understanding of the business processes and requirements which inform the system designScaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certification like SAFe Practitioner, or commitment to take the course and obtain certification within 2 months from commencement of workIf you have this expertise, and are able to work in Canada, please submit your resume.
