We strive to provide an inclusive culture by fostering an environment of mutual respect, and fairness, and by providing opportunities to contribute and grow.Position DescriptionMercer Celgar is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Engineering team as an Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical.Core ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and update equipment criticality utilizing our established process.Audit and develop equipment maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Plan, manage and execute asset inspection and major maintenance projects.Plan, manage and execute maintenance of business CAPEX projects.Support production, maintenance and project teams as the equipment subject matter expert.Investigate equipment failures and recommend solutions.Provide input to long term and annual business plans.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Registered with a Canadian Engineering Association (EGBC, APEGA, PEO, etc.) as a P.Eng. or EIT.Several years experience in the maintenance area with knowledge of best maintenance practices.Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate work activities with input from a wide cross-section of individuals within the organization.Familiarity with NBIC, API, and ASME codes and standards.SalaryThe salary for this position is $88,430.00 - $150,530.00.
