Construction Coordinator

Pinchin Ltd.Construction CoordinatorBritish ColumbiaPinchin has an immediate opening for a Construction Coordinator to join our Construction & Project Management Services Group (CPM) in British Columbia. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Manager, BC Region.Responsibilities:Assist with preparation of scope of work and deliverablesPrepare complete tender packagesParticipate in project meetings with contractors and consultants, prepare meeting minutesCoordinate construction schedule and activities; multiple projectsIssue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelinesAssist with preparation of permit application documentsPreparation of proposal submission documentsCoordinate work with regulatory bodies and utility companiesManage and monitor contractor’s safety program and complianceAttend sites at various locations throughout BC and AlbertaQualifications:5 plus years of onsite experience within the construction industry. Experience on Demolition, Civil/Excavation, Retrofit, Restoration and/or Tenant Improvement projects is desired.PMP designation or equivalent is considered an asset.Competent interpreting blueprints and drawingsFamiliarity with Microsoft ProjectProficient with Microsoft Office and general computer softwareDemonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principlesFamiliarity with contract structures and delivery methodsAbility to work in a team environmentWhat’s in it for you: Of course, we offer competitive salaries and great benefits, but what makes Pinchin stand out from the crowd?
