IT Business Data Analyst – Financial Insurance Systemscontract till Feb 2025Pay Rate: $65-$70/hour IncorpHYBRID Role - 2 days per week35 hours work week•Minimum 5 years of hands-on IT or systems business analyst experience with strong BA practices and standards.•Strong IT requirements analysis and elicitation skills•Experience with P&C insurance, Travel & Group Benefits insurance.•Solid understanding of Insurance Accounting, Reinsurance and IFRS17 & Regulatory Reporting.•Experience with ERP Oracle Cloud finance modules.•Experience with SQL, data analysis, EDW/EDP.•Solid understanding of system development life cycle.•Knowledge in software architecture, ETL Concepts and Database architecture.•Experience with Informatica IICS Integration projects•Good level of understanding of the IICS concepts, Informatica guidelines and best practices.•Confluence & Jira knowledge•CBAP, IIBA member or other BA designation certification.•Scrum Master or experience with Agile methodologies.•Ability to work in a Waterfall or Hybrid Agile/Waterfall method.•Practical experience with or within a Finance department in Billing, AR/AP, and General Ledger functions.•Practical experience with or knowledge of preparing financial statements, P&C -1 in the specific reporting areas of premiums, claims and reinsurance.•University degree, College diploma and/or Certifications in a related discipline or equivalent training and work experience.
