We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI, LLMs, and machine learning models, and will be responsible for providing technical leadership to the team as well as contributing hands-on coding expertise. Ready to get started? Main Responsibilities: Provide technical leadership and direction to the data science team. Collaborate with the project lead to define project goals and strategies. Design, develop, and implement AI and machine learning models to support our information retrieval engines for diverse molecular and imaging data types. Lead the development and optimization of large language models (LLMs) for various applications within the project. Mentor and guide junior data scientists and team members. Ensure the quality and integrity of data processing and analysis. Work closely with data engineers, bioinformaticians, and developers to integrate AI/ML solutions into the overall project architecture. Communicate technical concepts and project updates to stakeholders and team members. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and bioinformatics to ensure the project utilizes cutting-edge techniques and technologies. About You: Qualifications: Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field. 3-5 years of industry experience in AI, machine learning, and large language models (LLMs). Proven track record of leading data science projects and teams. Strong programming skills in Python and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks (PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.). Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and data processing tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Why Choose Us?
