Who you are:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Technical Solutions Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will support our sales team by providing technical expertise and ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation for our Cybersecurity & DNS solutions and services. This role requires a blend of technical know-how, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset. The ideal candidate would be located in either Calgary, Alberta or Ottawa, Ontario.
What you will do:
Assist the sales team in qualifying prospects from a technical standpoint. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospective clients.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and propose tailored SaaS solutions. Develop and present customized solutions that address client requirements and showcase product capabilities.
Set up and manage Proof of Concept (PoC) environments to demonstrate the value and capabilities of our SaaS offerings. Provide technical support during the PoC phase and address any issues that arise.
Create and maintain technical documentation for pre-sales activities. Report on pre-sales activities, client feedback, and potential product improvements to internal teams.
Work closely with product management and development teams to stay updated on product features and enhancements. Provide feedback to product teams based on client interactions and market demands.
Assist in developing and delivering training sessions for sales and customer success teams on new product features and technical aspects. Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
Assist clients with deployment and post-deployment support in collaboration with the product support team.
What you will bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role, preferably within the SaaS industry.
Strong technical acumen and understanding of SaaS solutions, cloud computing, and related technologies.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with CRM systems and sales processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and presentations.
Knowledge of network infrastructure, DNS, security, and compliance standards.
Fluency in French is considered an asset.
