Work in the rapidly growing Vancouver office with a small team of enthusiastic and friendly Automation Engineers. The opportunity to make a difference - the team is small but growing rapidly. Work with the major industrial brands including Rockwell Automation (ControlLogix and FactoryTalk View SE) and Schneider Electric (M580 and Plant SCADA). Travel to project sites across North America (Canada, USA) and opportunities to work overseas. Internal training for upskilling engineers covering topics such as advanced PLC programming, SCADA configuration, networking, and loop controller design. To be considered for the role, you must have the following experience: High proficiency in the use of Rockwell Automation's Studio 5000 Logix Designer and associated software for programming ControlLogix processors. Proficiency and experience with industrial Ethernet networks. Knowledge and experience with PID loop controllers. Experience with SCADA software. Experience with mentoring and assisting less experienced engineers. The position requires travel to attend Factory Acceptance Tests and perform on-site commissioning. You must have the following qualifications to be considered for this role: Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent). A minimum of five years' experience with Rockwell Automation's Studio 5000 Logix Designer programming software including on-site commissioning experience. A minimum of ten years' experience as an Automation Engineer in mineral and/or heavy industrial processing. A minimum of ten years’ programming experience across a range of PLC and SCADA software.
