We are building the most streamlined and versatile central fill network in the country and we’re looking for colleagues who can help us make it a reality.What you'll do: Responsible for ensuring accuracy of prepared medication by checking each prescription and ensuring legal compliance and product quality. This includes weekly strip packaged medications, compliance packages and all non-packaged productsResponsible for ensuring appropriate corrections are completed when identifiedAccurately count and reconcile Narcotic and Controlled medicationsResponsible for checking products in an organized and efficient manner to maintain workflow and ensure delivery routes leave at their scheduled timesPatient privacy and confidentiality is protected in accordance with regulationsKeep current with and align with legal requirements, professional standards, and where provided, workplace policies and proceduresCommitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belongingSpecial projects to enrich your professional developmentWhat you bring:Licensed and registered with the College of Pharmacists as Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT), in good standingLiability insurance to legally practice as a RPhTA minimum of 1 year of continuous working experience in a pharmacy environment (Long Term Care, Hospital, or Retail)Experience with high volume filling environments is preferredEffective written and verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsExcellent organizational and multitasking skillsAttention to detailComplete work with minimal supervisionTeammate and Leadership skillsBilingual (English/French) is an assetHours of operations from Sunday to Thursday 10am to 6pm.Why work at Shoppers Drug Mart?Acting as consultants, supporting internal customers and the Associate-Owners, you will get experience unique to the retail industry while working for an award-winning national brand.
