Entrepreneurial to our core, our talented team members transcend obstacles into opportunities and are successfully transforming mid-market business practices.  Responsibilities  Lead the proposal, planning and delivery of Agriculture research projects such as economic impact studies, cost-benefit studies and market studies for clients in the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. Develop innovative methodologies and models for undertaking economic analysis following best practices. Manage engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition).  Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and relationships grow and develop. Review, design and develop high-quality deliverables including reports, presentations and other correspondence. Maintain high quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues or key risks relevant to the client’s business. Network in the local business community, consider business development opportunities and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needs. Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews. Contribute to strategic and operational planning related to client and practice management, as well as the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.  Skills and Experience  Master’s or PhD in Agricultural Economics. CMC, PMP or other related certifications are considered an asset.  10+ years of consulting experience, ideally in a client-service environment. Extensive knowledge of quantitative economic methods and data analysis. Strong writing and communication skills. Demonstration of advanced project management skills and tactics Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills Strong strategic planning and conceptual thinking skills Established network within the Canadian agricultural community
