Your Opportunity: Reporting to the Manager, Clinical Workforce Systems (CWS), the Senior Solution Lead is responsible for providing guidance and technical leadership to Provincial Workforce Scheduling (PWS). PWS supports a comprehensive range of enterprise clinical scheduling systems and is responsible for all support, development and maintenance of IT services supporting clinical scheduling across multiple health delivery organizations across the province of Alberta. Description: As a Senior Analyst, you will provide technical leadership and support related to information technology applications either directly to users of the systems or to service delivery functions. You will ensure reliable operations of information systems, resolve complex technical problems, find solutions to customer needs, and lead projects and program initiatives. You will be responsible for more advanced application, technology staff scheduling or technology support duties. You will investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex problems that have typically been escalated several levels before assignment to this position, and will translate business requirements into technical requirements for a solution and recommend a potential approach to the vendor. You will analyze the solution provided to ensure that it fits both technical requirements and business needs. You will also spend time on project or initiative leadership and delivery. Required Qualifications: University/College graduate with degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant software/computer related fields or equivalent.Will consider an incumbent with other education and with the aptitude to learn. Technical skills. Java, Groovy, SQL java script.Proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational database systems.Superior communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Good exposure to object-oriented programming. Additional Required Qualifications: Technical aptitude.Excellent interpersonal skillsStrong customer-first orientation.Demonstrated experience with clinical staff scheduling. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience with staff scheduling is desired.Experience with the Infor Workforce Management Application Suite. Expertise using and managing Enterprise cloud technologies.Aptitude to learn quickly and independently.Team player with strong communication, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
