Roska DBO Inc. is seeking a Safety Advisor for our busy oil and gas producer customer based in Grande Prairie, AB. The successful candidates will have experience in Process Operations or Drilling and Completions as well as experience in a HSE Advisor position with NCSO designation. This is a long-term position. Candidates are required to reside in the area.Responsibilities Include:Conduct field-based worksite safety audits including HSE management systems and implementation of policies and proceduresConduct detailed incident investigations identifying direct and indirect causes, implement and manage corrective actions to prevent reoccurrencesDevelop and maintain a process that identifies regulatory and industry trends and changes within Health, Safety & EnvironmentEnsure that employees, contractors, site supervisors, and service vendors understand and conduct all operational activities in compliance with corporate expectationsProvide technical assistance when required on HSE-related mattersRevise and implement standards, procedures and programs, as requiredConduct field safety inspections and worksite evaluation, participate in field-based safety meetings, tool box and pre-project meetingsProvide accurate, reliable and verifiable reports and statistics regarding HSE incidents and accidentsCoach and mentor field personnel in Risk Management / Hazard AssessmentsSupport, mentor and train personnel as it relates to Health & Safety procedures/best practicesCascade and implement new HSE policies, regulations, Headquarter requests etc.Perform other miscellaneous duties as assignedQualifications:Minimum of 10 years of experience working in the oilfield industry;3-5 years of progressive work experience in facility construction, production or drilling & completion;3-5 years of progressive HSE advisory experience in facility construction, production or drilling & completion;CRSP designation, NCSO or Occupational Health & Safety Certification would be considered an asset;Must be legally qualified to work in Canada. #J-18808-Ljbffr
