Operations Supervisor

Our client specializes in the design and manufacture of custom prefabricated wooden structures. They are looking for an Operations Supervisor. Manage the human, financial and material resources assigned in order to optimize production, performance and organization of the department; Forecast department labour needs and put in place a job organization to meet company needs; Hire and manage department staff, evaluate their performance and see to their development; Supervise the control of raw materials, products and equipment inventories; Develop and ensure the implementation of an equipment maintenance program; Anticipate operational challenges and take the necessary measures to prevent/solve them by a ing continuous improvement approach; Supervise monitoring of transport and deliveries. Requirements: DEC or Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or other related field; 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position; Strong communications skills (written and spoken); Computer literate; French.
