Red Table Foods is currently looking to fill Kitchen Worker positions to work at our head office in South Edmonton (3790 98 St NW). As an integral member of the Red Table Team, the Kitchen Worker will prepare a wide variety of foods from scratch, be champions in safety, and will ensure the highest standards of food and baking. Key Responsibilities The responsibilities of a Kitchen Worker include, but are not limited to: Sanitize, sweep, and mop the kitchen/dining room floor as directed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen. Assist with inventory. Read and produce food from scratch standardized recipes Work independently and/or collectively on the preparation and cooking of specific food items Ensure products meet/exceed Quality Control expectations. Adhere to safety policies and procedures by following company safe work practices and standard operating procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience working in a kitchen is required. Food Safety certification valid in the province of Alberta for the duration of your employment is a requirement. Advance Food Safety is considered an asset. Current, valid First Aid certification is an asset. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, push, and place objects away weighing up to 50 lbs.
