Fortinet extends ZTNA control to end-user devices both on- and off-network operation through FortiClient. Easy to use Secure Remote Access and Mobility via SSL and IPsec VPN. FortiClient connects every endpoint to form a cohesive security fabric.Position: This is a full-time, permanent roleLocation: Burnaby, BC (we are working a hybrid modelJob Responsibilities:Design, Implementation and maintenance of the FortiClient EMS services (server side)Skills Required:Work experience using Go/Golang is a must-haveMinimum 6 years' related work experience Experience writing scalable softwareExperience working with containers (Docker, Kubernetes or related technologies)Experience with NoSQL databasesExperience in multi-threaded, high performance server side code designsExperience in network programmingExperience in relational databases, such as MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQLSome experience with C/C++ programmingExcellent problem solving and troubleshooting skillsMust be able to work well in a team development environmentExperience in the following is a plus: Python, AWS, GCP, AzureEducational Requirements:Degree, diploma or masters in Computer Science or Software Engineering disciplines or relevant years of related experience in similar domainThe Canada base salary range for this full-time position is expected to be between $130,000 - $150,000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market, job type, and job level.
