Step into a collaborative hub with our revamped office, and enjoy free parking, endless coffee, delicious Lactalis snacks, an on-site gym, and more!About the opportunity:The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for leading and delivering profitable growth on a portfolio of brands / large size brand, developing business plans and marketing strategies, planning and delivering innovation, building integrated marketing campaigns, and managing / developing a team.The attributes we are looking for:Brand Equity / Strategy; Lead development of marketing / brand strategies & plans including within the year and long-term planning to identify areas of future growth. Analysis and Insights into Action; ensure ongoing analysis with clear plans of action using external and internal data with their team to formulate strategies & change strategic direction when needed in order to drive growth & achieve business objectives.Comms / Media; Lead creative development to ensure effective consumer communication across both above and below the line mediums.Cross-functional Leadership; be able to articulate strong storytelling to sell business cases & projects to cross functional teams / management and rally the team behind a common goal.Business Acumen/Management; Ensure strategic resource allocations to grow the business by collaborating with key stake holders. Manage marketing spending in line with brands strategic objectives with alignment from management on all strategies. Innovation/Renovation; In conjunction with marketing & innovation directors help define future innovation and renovation strategies with strong ownership of launch go to market planning & execution.People Management; manage & coach direct report(s) in both functional and other essential skill sets to help build pipeline of talent for Lactalis Canada.What you will bring:University degree in related field (MBA preferred)Minimum seven years brand management experience in CPGStrong strategic and critical thinking in both short and long-term business planningSelf-starter with a bias for action and ownership mindsetHighly analytical, with strong business acumen and financial disciplineDemonstrated leadership skills, organizational agility, and ability to manage a diverse cross-functional team & team management.Proven ability to navigate through strategic and organizational complexity and ambiguityExcellent influencing and communication skills; highly skilled in building strong internal and external relationshipsPassion for driving results and building strong brandsBilingual (English/French) language skills an assetWhat Lactalis will offer:Lactalis Canada believes in rewarding its people with the following package for contract employees:A Competitive Base Salary A Retention Bonus of 15% to be paid out at the end of the contract8% vacation pay Health & Dental Benefits starting day 1 Learning and Development opportunities Potential for future full time permanent opportunities!Our ESG commitment: Our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) roadmap drives our sustainability mission.
