Entrepreneurial to our core, our talented team members transcend obstacles into opportunities and are successfully transforming mid-market business practices.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with business units to provide counsel and support in a broad range of practice areasConduct legal research and provide advice to various department heads and executivesIdentify legal issues, research and analyze complicated situations and develop practical solutions in an efficient and timely mannerWork closely with MNP’s practitioners to proactively identify and manage legal riskWork closely with outside counsel and manage all stages of litigationAssist in the review and maintenance of corporate policiesDraft concise emails and legal documentsDevelop working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and work effectively with outside counselWrite briefs on regulations, legal/compliance matters and other ad hoc legal issues to defend legal position and provide guidance to teamDevelop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industryContribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processesRaise awareness of MNP at community eventsSkills and Experience2 to 4 years post-call experienceDemonstrated ability to identify legal issues, research and analyze complicated situations and develop practical solutionsCustomer service drivenMyRewards@MNPWith a focus on high-potential earnings, MNP is proud to offer customized rewards that support our unique culture and a balanced lifestyle to thrive at work and outside of the office.
