Solution Architect Apex Systems is a global IT services provider and our consulting practice has an opening for a Solution Architect- E-Banking who has e-banking and java experience for a Top Five Bank.Client: Big 5 BankLocation: Hybrid; 1- 2 days a week in TorontoTerms: 6 6-month contract, Strong possibility of extension or converting fulltime based on project budget & candidate performance.Hours: 37.5 hours/week Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pmResponsibilities:Seasoned solution architect that has experience in designing enterprise scale applicationsModern architecture, security and integration patterns, e.g. Microservice, event driven, domain driven design, Oauth, Cloud native conceptsJava, Spring/Springboot background. Is not required to code but needs to be hands on, able to navigate code and conduct code reviewsFluent in communication. Able to articulate technical ideas to both technology and business audienceExcellent presentation skills: Need to handle management, business, and executive level presentations.Collaborative in natureGreat sense of ownership and responsibilitySelf driven and proactiveAble to coach and guide development team throughout implementation cycle of the solution.Expectations:Lead and own end-to-end solution for Digital Technology, from frontend to backend, covering both functional and non-functional aspects.Lead the design of cost-effective and innovative solutions to meet both business objectives and the goal of operational efficiencySupport rest of technology teams throughout the project life cycle in understanding the solutionBe an active player in consultant community, maintaining consistency across the platform, and adopting best practices
