Job Title: Manager, Assurance & AdvisoryFull-Time Permanent.Location: St. Catharines, ON.Main responsibilities:Managing client engagements by providing assurance and accounting services to owner-managed businesses.Managing project financials including budgets, WIP, timely billing and collection, and variance recognition.Working under tight deadlines, delivering quality work, and anticipating and resolving client issues in a timely manner.Generating new business opportunities by promoting the firm’s expertise and services, as well as developing ideas and solutions.Mentoring, training and developing junior and senior staff.Complying with all confidentiality policies of the firm and applicable regulatory authorities.Qualifications:A Canadian CPA, CA designation.At least 4 years of public accounting experience in the audit function.A strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises, IFRS and Canadian corporate and personal tax.Thorough knowledge and application of relevant professional standards, regulations and corporate governance requirements.A demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients as a trusted business advisor.Organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines.Experience with MS Office, CaseWare and tax return software.Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in teams.A strong commitment to professional client service excellence.BEV-123About Bevertec:For 35 plus years Bevertec has been at the forefront of providing top level technology professionals to our clients across Canada and beyond.
