Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Calibration Specialist

Position Overview Roshel is looking a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) Calibration Specialist at their Brampton, Ontario facility. The person will be responsible for developing calibrations that achieve world-class drivability and optimized energy efficiency. Responsibilities Develop calibration best practices for future BEV applications and analyze, plan, and solve complex system problems as they relate to calibration development Responsible for utilizing large and complex sets of data and actively participate in the development of standard hardware and calibration development processes and procedures. Perform calibration work, such as post processing data, generating calibration and technical reports according to the schedule of activities and testing of the vehicle application project Certify the quality of the measured data for the execution of the Basic Calibration activities Lead cross functional system resolution and administration Prepare and provide technical reports of the activities carried out following the project’s Quality Gates schedule or whenever requested by the manager Be responsible for reporting status of development activities to the manager Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related degree Minimum of 3-5 Years calibration experience Basic understanding of Power Electronics, Hybrid Vehicle Architecture and Power flow Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Experience with Google Suite (Docs, Slides, Sheets) Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently Effective communication and interpersonal skills Conflict and crisis management #J-18808-Ljbffr
