Automotive Mechanic

Job SummaryThis position maintains a diverse range of equipment including delivery vehicles, heavy duty machinery, on road tractors, and trailers from a variety of manufacturers. This position troubleshoots and maintains/repairs various systems including hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electronics, and engines. This position performs other tasks as requested.Responsibilities:Repairs all UPS package cars and equipment.Maintain a clean and organized workspaceUse diagnostic tools and software to identify mechanical problemsEnsures all vehicles are maintained regularly and in a timely mannerCommunicate effectively in a teamwork environmentPerforms routine PMI (Preventive Maintenance Inspection) and Maintenance repairs.Qualifications:Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.Valid driver's license and clean driving recordAvailability to work flexible shifts, up to 5 days per weekStrong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehiclesExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and occasionally outdoorsPossession of essential hand tools. Such as pneumatic tools and more.Preferably must possess of a PEP card heavy duty or light duty mechanic license.
