LEGENDS The Role The Culinary Scheduling Supervisor position will be responsible for the scheduling of culinary employees to meet staffing levels as per day and event requirements. They will work collectively and cooperatively with the Culinary Management team to ensure all positions required are scheduled for the successful execution of the event. They will also be responsible for tracking attendance, punctuality, and assignment of uniform of the culinary employees. Responsibilities: Support the Culinary Management team by scheduling, and executing the staffing event plan Complete schedules by utilizing the scheduling system and following regulations within the CBA Follow-up with employees attendance deficiencies, such as no shows, and tardiness Track employees call-offs and availabilities Coach and discipline non-compliance with attendance requirements Complete timesheet edits and review utilizing scheduling platform Distribution and track uniform usage by culinary employees Assist Culinary Management with distribution of contracts where necessary Assist with recruiting efforts, including interviewing and making job offers to hourly culinary employees Other duties as assigned Qualifications: All applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Proficiency with computer skills, Outlook, Microsoft Suite, scheduling software Ability to multitask on various tasks simultaneously Ability to interact with employees in order to assure positive employee experience Ability to effectively listen and communicate with various groups of employees Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations (including food allergens), service standards, guest relations and etiquette Must be able to read, speak and write English Language proficiently in order to communicate with employees and other team members.. Ability to work a flexible schedule days, evenings, weekends, and holidays and extended hours Ability to interact with co-workers to assure compliance with company service standards. Ability to work independently or in a team setting Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training Legends is an Equal Opportunity employer.
