If so, this would be a great opportunity for you!Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Service Officer for a 7 month contract in Toronto. This is hybrid role - 2 times a week on site, Monday and Tuesday (subject to change in the future). There is possibility of contract extension and convert to permanent opportunity dependents on business needs.Pay rate: $22.00/HourWorking Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 5:00pmAdvantages•Opportunity for growth•Competitive pay rate•Hybrid role•Start date ASAP•Potential for contract extension and conversionResponsibilitiesAs a Service Officer, your duties will include but not be limited to:•Reporting to the Team Manager of Internal Processing team. •Processing transactions accurately and on time•Prioritizing and managing own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity•Following firm and industry regulations and operating practices in completing and recording transactions for either the firm or clients•Escalating non-standard or high risk transactions or other activities as appropriate•Ensuring documentation prepared/completed is accurate and properly reflects client/business intentions and is consistent with relevant rules/regulations•Completing investigations – report/escalate risk issues identified or process gaps•Accessing systems, know and apply system capabilities, ensure upload/download of information is completed timely and accurately•Assisting in analysis, development, testing, and implementation of operating and process improvements•Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery and support process improvement initiatives.Qualifications•Working knowledge of wealth management industry, including product knowledge i.e. different account types and their functionality (ideally 1-2 years, operations background, closing an account, opening a savings account, understanding of SLA’s)•High level of attention to detail required•Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with the teams and partners.•Knowledge of ISM/Baycom/CIF/EATS/EIS/Microsoft Office/Transfer process will be an asset.•Must be highly motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills•Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once•Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information•Commitment to client service excellence•Post-Secondary education required/University degree is a must, Business related major is an asset•Tech Savvy – navigate computer applications freely•Intermediate/Experience Excel skills – navigating excel, spread sheets, copying cells, extracting data from database•Able to commute 2-3 days a week onsiteNice to have skills:•Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is an asset•Creating Macros, exp with VBA,PositionSummaryInterested in the Service Officer role in Toronto?
