Solutions Architect

You will join a dynamic, highly collaborative Platform Engineering team to accelerate our transformation into a cloud-native application. As a community of software professionals, we are continually growing and learning to keep up with the fast pace of the software industry.What you'll be doing daily:Working with the Project Manager to understand the priority of deliverablesWorking with each of the product owners to define the technical requirements and deliverables that each scrum team will execute againstProviding feedback into the backlog grooming processDeveloping technical architecture documentation along with defining technical requirements to achieve desired business objectivesWork with each of the Scrum teams to ensure provided deliverables are achieved to the architecture and required designsProvide leadership and direction when questions arise in technical situations to ensure security and quality are at the forefrontRequirements:5+ years of experience as a software architect5+ years of working in an agile based software development environment5+ years of experience with issue and bug tracking products (Jira, Confluence, etc.)Works with others to deliver results, meaningfully contributing to the team and prioritizing group needs over individual needsEffectively copes with change, finding ways to advance work and projectsUses an organized and logical approach to finding solutions to complex problems, looking beyond the obvious to understand the root cause of the problem, and proposes several possible solutionsExcellent written and oral communication skills, proven ability and experience in communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholdersYou have a passion for architecting technical solutionsYou have a passion for developing tactical technical requirements that are un-ambiguousYou have a passion for ensuring high-quality agile processes are continuously followed as a culture along with instilling that culture to the utmostBenefits:Work onsite in Saint John, Canada up to 3 days a week collaborating with the teamWork hours are Monday - Friday, normal 37.5 hour weekType of job: Temporary Contractor - 1 yearDate candidate required: ImmediateLocation: Montreal #J-18808-Ljbffr
