A building Superintendent Couple, with solid industry experience, is needed for an upscale 163-unit residential apartment at desirable Yonge and St. Clair. Fluency in spoken and written English, as well as excellent maintenance and repair skills, are required. There must be high level of communication and cooperation with the relief superintendent couple in the twin tower next door. A live-in apartment, plus competitive salary and benefits, are offered.You must have the following qualifications:Considerable experience of a variety of building maintenance trades as they relate to the residential site. These would include, but are not limited to: Plaster, minor plumbing, and electrical skills, tile, general renovations. Ability to show and rent apartments. Knowledge of health, safety, and security standards for large buildings, such as fire regulations. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, tenants, and members of the general public Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions Ability to detect and respond to emergency situations Physical ability including lifting Ability to clean common areas and ensure building is maintained to a high standard.Job Type: Full-timePay: Live in apartment plus salary from $45,000.00 per yearAdditional pay: Bonus pay Commission payBenefits: Dental care Extended health care Paid time off Vision careFlexible language requirement: French not requiredSchedule: 8 hour shift On call Weekend availabilityExperience: construction: 1 year (preferred)
