Position Overview:Our client is looking for a seasoned HR Manager with extensive experience in manufacturing to lead their human resources operations. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of HR experience and a proven track record of managing HR functions within a manufacturing setting. They are seeking someone who can hit the ground running, bringing strategic thinking to drive HR initiatives, enhance employee engagement, and ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws.Key Responsibilities:HR Strategy & Leadership:Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.Provide leadership and guidance on HR matters to senior management and department heads.Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.Talent Management:Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to ensure we attract and retain top talent.Develop and execute workforce planning strategies to meet current and future staffing needs.Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development planning.Employee Relations:Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a positive and productive work environment.Resolve employee issues in a fair and consistent manner, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Promote a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement within the manufacturing environment.Compliance & Policy Management:Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and legal requirements.Manage and oversee all aspects of labor relations, including collective bargaining agreements (if applicable).Training & Development:Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.Implement leadership development initiatives to build the next generation of leaders within the organization.Coordinate with department heads to provide job-specific training and development opportunities.Compensation & Benefits:Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with company objectives.Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to maintain market competitiveness.Manage employee wellness programs to support work-life balance and overall employee well-being.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources.Minimum of 7 years of HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.Proven experience in leading HR teams and managing complex employee relations issues.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
