YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Corporate Director, Talent Management, you will be part of the Corporate Human Resources Department. You will be responsible for managing the talent and DEI functions while ensuring that the goals and objectives are achieved. In partnership with the Talent Management & DEI specialist, you will manage the continued development and execution of the global strategy and collaborate with the Regional HR Leads and stakeholders. You will ensure the alignment with global direction through communication and sharing of information and data as well as the integration of new sites. This position will partner with internal and external stakeholders to support and facilitate the development and implementation of policies, processes, KPIs and related programs. 

  • Manage the continued development and execution of the global talent management and DEI strategy;
  • Collaborate with Regional HR Leads and stakeholders ensuring alignment with global direction through communication and sharing of information and data as well as the integration of new sites;
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to support and facilitate the development and implementation of policies, processes, KPIs and related programs;
  • Design and implement people development programs, training workshops as needed, career development initiatives to enhance and promote capabilities of employees and foster their professional growth;
  • Manages the set-up, administration of the LMS for global programs as well as supports the design of new content in partnership with department leads as required;
  • Supports the Corporate Director, Talent Management with leadership training initiatives;
  • Manages the Performance Management systems and executes the annual process and identify areas of improvement working closely with the regions and the compensation team to optimize the process;
  • Manage related communications, develop guidelines, and communicates with the regions to understand their needs, and supports with the process;
  • Manage the performance KPI’s and dashboard. Analyzing and identifying gaps, strengths, developing action plans and providing input into the strategy;
  • Manages and execute the succession planning process to ensure timelines are met and information is accurate. Ensure a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical roles within Agnico Eagle;

  • Manage the transfer of information and accuracy in support or new sites integration to any of the annual Talent Management processes;
  • Developing and implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies aligned with the organization's goals and values;
  • Providing leadership and guidance to senior management and staff on DEI matters;
  • Conducting assessments and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and measure progress towards DEI goals;
  • Collaborating with HR, hiring managers, and recruiters to develop inclusive recruitment and retention practices;
  • Providing training and education programs to raise awareness and promote understanding of diversity and inclusion issues.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Advanced degree in Training and Development, Organizational Development, Human Resources Management, or another closely related field;
  • Post-secondary education and/or certification in a related field such as Human Resources, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Human Rights, Social Justice etc;
  • Ten (10) to fifteen (15) years of experience in a related field with at least three (3) years specifically in learning and development and/or training;
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with and advise leadership groups on Talent Management and DEI matters;
  • Demonstrated track record of dealing with sensitive information and exercising proven judgment and discretion;
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience on the issues of equity, diversity, and inclusion of underrepresented groups in society and more specifically in the workplace;
  • Demonstrated knowledge in human resources, specifically in Talent Management;
  • Familiarity with relevant legislation on equity, human rights, discrimination, etc.

Your Work Schedule:

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from our Corporate Office in Toronto, ON. Ability and willingness to travel to all global sites on an as needed basis.
