Description

As a single contributor in the Fleet Strategy & Operations team, you will work within a high performing and entrepreneurial team focused on enabling our internal stakeholders to serve TELUS’ customers, while relentlessly reducing vehicle-related costs, downtime, and emissions.

You will have the opportunity to be actively involved in fleet transformation and will be called upon to propose improvements and optimizations. You will also be responsible for resolving fleet-related issues encountered by our partners and internal stakeholders.

Our industry and technologies are in a transformational phase, so an essential part of being successful in this role involves being able to adapt and thrive in an environment of change and shifting priorities. Here’s how:

  • Manage the life cycle and associated costs of TELUS Corporate vehicles including procurement, upfitting, maintenance/repairs, etc.
  • Support electric vehicle Operations as we deploy EVs in scale, ensuring barriers and friction are addressed
  • Coordinate vehicle insurance & registration renewal activities with our partners
  • Act as key liaison with our vendors and internal stakeholders, ensuring the needs of our fleet are being properly addressed
  • Support in the optimization and manage execution of TELUS’ vehicle replacement program
  • Develop strategies to reduce vehicle downtime/costs and work with operations teams to ensure successful deployment of developed strategies

Qualifications

You’re the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Valued for your 3 to 5+ years of asset lifecycle management, including procurement, contracts, maintenance record management, and end of life management
  • Degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution.
  • Known as a strong collaborative team player
  • Recognized for your ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients
  • Demonstrated commitment to a customer-centric approach, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction

Great-to-haves

  • Fluent in English and French (verbal and written)
Salary Range: $68,000-$102,000

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as:

  • Comprehensive total rewards package highlighting competitive salary and bonus structures, minimum 3 weeks of vacation, and flexible benefits plan to meet the needs of you and your family
  • Flexibility to work in-office, virtually or a combination of both
