As the Talent Partner, you'll lead the charge on full-cycle recruitment, not just for our present needs but as a key architect for our future workforce. Your canvas is the entire organization.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead Full-Cycle Recruitment: Partner with hiring managers and executive leadership to develop job descriptions and manage recruitment efforts across the organization for technical and non-technical roles. Ensure compliance with legal and brand standards throughout the process.
  • Job Description Management: Optimize and manage job description templates in brand voice, ensuring consistency and alignment with organizational values.
  • Offer Template Enhancement: Collaborate with People & Culture lead to enhance employment offer templates, focusing on articulating total rewards.
  • Hiring Manager Toolkit: Create and own a toolkit to equip our leaderswith best practices, including question banks unique to role types, to empower hiring managers tonavigate the interview process effectively.
  • Proactive Sourcing: Utilize LinkedIn for proactive networking and strategic sourcing, maintaining a pipeline of high-quality candidates.
  • Candidate Assessment: Develop and lead candidate assessment processes, ensuring a seamless and elevated experience for all applicants.
  • Relationship Management: Maintain relationships with staffing agencies and educational institutions to stay informed about talent trends and expand industry contacts.
  • Applicant Tracking System Management: Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) for recruitment and candidate management, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Employer Branding + Corporate Communications: Define and execute employer branding initiatives both externally and internally, collaborating with the creative team to develop content.
  • Social Media Management: Create and manage a LinkedIn social calendar, developing content for biweekly posts via the company account.
  • Online Reputation Development: Collaborate with HR to develop the company's online reputation and attract top talent. Respond to commentary on online forums (e.g., Glassdoor, LinkedIn).
  • Recruitment Budget Optimization: Track and optimize the recruitment budget across various job boards and manage these relationships effectively.
  • Internal Process Improvement: Create job intake process forms for internal use, streamlining the hiring workflow.
  • Onboarding Support: Support employee onboarding in collaboration with People & Culture counterpart, up until the onboarding presentation.
  • Talent Development: Support People & Culture counterpart with talent development initiatives, including the BambooHR Performance Module.
  • Performance Analysis & Special Projects: Review recruitment metrics, and undertake ad hoc special projects to support the talent acquisition strategy.
  • Internship Program Launch: Partner with the marketing department and fulfillment center to launch an internship program, recruiting new grads to support various business areas.
  • Continuous Improvement: Research and propose continuous improvements to recruitment processes, collaborating with business leaders to enhance the candidate experience and accelerate hiring processes.
Experience, Education & Designations
  • Bachelor's degree or college diploma in human resources or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of proven success in an internal talent partner type role, including sourcing and full life cycle recruitment – fashion/retail environment is a plus.
  • A proven track record of building, managing, and optimizing recruitment processes in a corporate environment.
  • Experience leveraging various tools to perform duties, including LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, passive talent pipelines, and other job boards.
  • Experience advising hiring managers on recruitment strategy and best practices, contributing to the development and effectiveness of hiring processes.
  • Applied expertise in assessing candidate alignment with open positions and organizational values, ensuring cultural fit and long-term success within the company.
Knowledge, Skills & Attributes
  • A reputation for exceptional candidate generation and relationship building.
  • Working knowledge of Lever or similar ATS, facilitating efficient tracking and management of candidate pipelines.
  • Ability to thrive in an innovative environment, demonstrating a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude and embracing change as an opportunity for growth.
  • Excellent communication skills with the capability to engage internally and externally at all levels.
  • Highly organized with strong time and task management skills, ensuring efficient execution of recruitment processes and priorities.
  • Knowledge of ethical practices and guidelines of federal and provincial legislation as it relates to recruitment (e.g., Human Rights, Labor Codes, Privacy), ensuring compliance and integrity in all recruitment activities.
  • Ability to develop and implement talent acquisition strategies that align with company goals and objectives.
  • In tune with talent market trends, with an "always-be-learning" mentality.
