Description of the Position:

The Manager, Acquisition (Recurring Revenue) is responsible for developing and executing integrated campaigns, acquisition programs and digital marketing strategies to support the Recurring Revenue marketing goals. This may include but not limited to developing programs to support recurring revenue acquisition, stewardship of monthly donors for the first three months of the donor journey and ongoing optimization of digital campaigns. 

You will:

  • Execute innovative and results-driven integrated marketing campaigns that may include digital, social, email, and telemarketing
  • Plan and develop recurring revenue acquisition program for lapsed donors
  • Develop and test new strategies for the acquisition program inclusive of A/B testing and optimization
  • Conduct competitive reviews and attend industry seminars to learn and apply best practices
  • Oversee a multi-million-dollar budget, tracking all invoices and managing expenses to ensure cost efficiencies
  • Develop, refine and manage revenue and expense forecasts; develop plans to overcome identified shortfalls
  • Partner with external agencies to develop and execute creative for onboarding new monthly donors
  • Maintain the day-to-day relationships with internal and external stakeholders who support the recurring revenue portfolio
  • Manage data and knowledge transfer between SickKids Foundation and partners, including proper JIRA requests, data formats, while adhering to business rules
  • Develop and modify telemarketing scripts and materials
  • Collaborate with team to train vendors and frontline staff of campaign launches
  • Generate reports and track acquisition campaign performance
  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Stay on top of best practices, emerging trends and making recommendations of intentional innovation

Description of the Position:

Required Skills

Qualifications: 

While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure, below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:

  • University degree in business, marketing, fundraising or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or non-profit sector with a strong focus on digital programs and campaigns that have driven results
  • Proven experience in developing and executing integrated campaigns across multiple channels (direct, digital, social, email)
  • Demonstrated ability to identify strategic business development opportunities and develop/lead such initiatives
  • Strong business, data and financial acumen with advanced analytical and financial modelling experience
  • Experience with results tracking, analysis and budget control reporting
  • Superior communication skills in addition to well-developed presentation abilities
  • Demonstrated experience managing external partners, including creative and media agencies and executional partners
  • Knowledge or experience within the not-for-profit sector would be considered an asset

Total Compensation Package:

Hiring Salary Range: $80,051.00 – $100,065.00; with the ability to progress to a maximum of $115,076.00. To ensure fair and equitable pay at SickKids Foundation, placement on the salary range will be based on your years of experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the Manager, Acquisition Recurring Revenue.
