Are you a dynamic and driven sales professional with a proven track record in exceeding measurable sales targets? Purolator is seeking an SMB Sales Professional to join our team and play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities within the SMB sector. This role is perfect for an individual who excels in strategic territory management and relationship building, and who is eager to leverage their understanding of Purolator’s solutions to deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Accept inbound leads from SMB within threshold (31k to 150k) and create opportunity.
  • Generate opportunities and prospect to new clients.
  • Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest to stimulate new opportunity.
  • Manage a book of business between 250-300 clients.
  • Leverage understanding of Purolator’s solutions to position Purolator such that our solutions deliver high customer value to new clients.
  • Work closely with Outside Sales Executives on assigned clients within the territory for joint deals above the threshold of 150k.
  • Update customer information and track activity in the organizational database in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain an accurate pipeline of Net New Opportunity and SOW.
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Obtain pricing requests and deliver sales presentations to clients to demonstrate Purolator’s value add.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple deliverables.
  • Experience selling via telephone, email, and online campaigns.
  • Ability to communicate in English and French (an asset).
  • Ability to initiate direct contact/build strong relationships with customers at Senior Management level.
  • Comfortability with mid-high volume cold calling.
  • Experience in solution selling.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or another CRM.
  • Excellent time management, analytical, and organizational skills.

Education

  • Completed Post-Secondary Education.
    Experience:
  • 3-5 years of Inside sales experience with proven success in meeting/exceeding measurable sales targets/quotas.
  • Experience in strategic territory management.
  • 3+ years of relationship management experience.
