Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will be responsible for CASE products (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers). This role will be instrumental in driving sales growth by identifying and prospecting new customers while nurturing existing client relationships. Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and cold calling potential customers.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and industries.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement innovative sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for expansion.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and objectives set by management.
  • Keep management up to date with written call reports.
  • While this is a remote position, the successful candidate will be required to travel within the assigned territory.

Skills and qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Sales experience in Chemical Distribution
  • Sales experience in CASE preferred
  • Proven track record of success in chemical sales or account management, with a focus on prospecting and acquiring new customers.
  • Strong prospecting and networking skills, with the ability to identify and cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Clean driving record with a valid G class driver’s license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Based in the GTA is preferred.
