Director, Human Resources

Our client is a world-scale energy infrastructure business engaged in the transportation, processing, and storage of energy products. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, the Director, Human Resources will be an influential leader, responsible for all corporate human resources strategies and frameworks in support of employee engagement, corporate culture and business profitability. In addition, the position will provide strategic leadership and focus to advance the company’s vision and values.Overseeing a team of five direct reports, the successful candidate will be accountable for further developing policies and programs across Talent Management, Learning & Development, Total Rewards and Employee Wellbeing, as well as driving further effectiveness of the company's HRIS system in support HR processes. The following qualifications are desired for the successful candidate applying to this role:An established leader with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in progressive business leadership roles which include Human Resources, and a deep knowledge of organizational effectiveness, total rewards, and employee relations.Experience gained within the energy industry is highly desirable.Certification as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) is an asset.Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.Solid experience and success in collaboratively and effectively engaging all stakeholders.Success in managing the HR requirements of a rapidly evolving company; andRefined strategic planning and coordinating skills to link corporate strategy to HR strategy.
