As the Workforce Planning Analyst you will use available data, , identify data gaps and work to close them to improve the ability to plan for workforce demands 30-60-90 days into the future. Use multiple factors such as work type and task complexity to create the best strategies for use of FTE and contract workforce to maintain service level commitments and minimize work backlogs. This position helps leadership across the business ensure they have the right capacity to meet demand and manage to the expected service levels.

A Day in the Life

  • Use volume forecasts and productivity analysis to model workforce capacity requirements mainly for back office (non-call center) operations. Compare forecasted to actual results in terms of volume, throughput, and headcount requirement to adjust the model as necessary.

  • Assist in productivity analysis and development of tools for area managers to track productivity of the internal and 3rd-party workforce. Assist director in managing day to day tasks with 3rd part workforce leadership in line with company objectives.

  • Identify and recommend opportunities to share resources across teams based on common skill requirements when workload balance shifts between teams or departments

  • Assist manager with projects and other duties as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent business experience

  • 3-5 years’ business experience

  • 3-5 years’ Contact Center and/or Back Office forecasting & scheduling experience

  • Demonstrated Excel and data analysis background

  • Highly organized and efficient, ability to communicate via multiple channels

  • Strong competency in MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and Power Query

  • Familiarity with Power BI a plus

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team

  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills to gain agreements
