As the People Support Specialist, you’ll be performing the following duties:

  • Support the People Support Manager on Human Resources related items
  • Responsible for preparing the paperwork for new hires, status changes, and employee departures; conducts termination meetings and exit interviews as required.
  • Providing front-line support for employee relation issues, conducts investigations coast to coast, as required.
  • Responding to requests from employees and/or leaders regarding the interpretation of established Human Resources policies. Identifies and escalates unusual requests or employee relations challenges to the People Support Manager.
  • Providing administrative support to HR team members as required: includes scanning and saving documents; filing; completing and copying forms.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Specialist with full-cycle recruitment efforts for all positions, when necessary.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist on recruitment initiatives.

To be successful you’ll need to have the following skills and abilities:

  • Post-Secondary education in Human Resources with a minimum of 5 year’s work experience.
  • Bilingual – French and English
  • An excellent communicator and problem solver
  • Energetic and results-driven.
  • Advanced Excel skills with Intermediate PowerPoint and MS Word skills
  • Experience with Workday would be a strong asset
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of organizational and planning skills
  • Ability to manage a high level of workload

En tant que spécialiste du soutien au personnel, vous effectuerez les tâches suivantes :

  • Soutenir le ou la gestionnaire du soutien au personnel dans les questions liées aux ressources humaines.
  • Préparer les documents requis pour les nouveaux employés, les changements de statut et le départ des employés; mener des entrevues de départ, s’il y a lieu.
  • Offrir un soutien de première ligne pour les questions de relations avec les employés, mener des enquêtes à travers le pays, selon les besoins.
  • Répondre aux demandes des employés et/ou des dirigeants concernant l’interprétation des politiques de ressources humaines en place. Déceler les demandes inhabituelles ou les problèmes de relations avec les employés et les signaler au ou à la gestionnaire du soutien au personnel.
  • Fournir au besoin du soutien administratif aux membres de l’équipe des ressources humaines, ce qui inclut des tâches telles que numériser et enregistrer des documents, faire du classement, ainsi que remplir et copier des formulaires.
  • Soutenir les efforts du ou de la spécialiste en acquisition de talents tout au long du cycle de recrutement pour tous les postes, au besoin.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le spécialiste en acquisition de talents sur les initiatives de recrutement.

Compétences et habiletés requises :

  • Études postsecondaires en ressources humaines et au moins cinq ans d’expérience
  • Bilingue – français et anglais
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en résolution de problèmes
  • Enthousiasme et souci des résultats
  • Connaissance avancée d’Excel et connaissance intermédiaire de PowerPoint et de MS Word
  • Expérience de Workday, un atout important
  • Motivation et solides compétences en organisation et en planification
  • Capacité de gérer une charge de travail importante
