Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Professional with a passion for aerospace and emerging technology to join our team. As the Business Development Professional, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth, identifying new opportunities, and expanding our market presence in the aforementioned markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the civil and military aerospace and MRO sectors, including but not limited to government contracts, commercial partnerships, and international collaborations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including aerospace manufacturers, government agencies, suppliers, and industry influencers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential areas for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and finance, to develop tailored solutions that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.
- Lead the development and execution of strategic business plans, including sales strategies, pricing models, and market entry strategies.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients, effectively communicating the value proposition of our products and services.
- Negotiate contracts, agreements, and partnerships with clients and vendors, ensuring favorable terms and mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Track and report on key performance metrics, sales forecasts, and business development activities, providing regular updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of the multiple aerospace sectors and technologies, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented mindset, capable of identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for growth.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
- Willingness/ability to travel as needed for client meetings, industry events, and conferences.
- Must meet client requirements permitting entry to restricted portions of their facilities which may include, but is not limited to citizenship and security screenings.
