We’re looking for a Senior Director of Performance Marketing to help build the brand and business for one of our luxury travel brands, Kensington Tours. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for directing an 8-figure budget to generate a high volume of quality leads for our Destination Experts. This position requires a results-driven individual with a deep understanding of digital marketing and a proven track record of cost-efficiently growing businesses. You will lead a team dedicated to acquiring clients and improving unit economics

Responsibilities

Your Role:

  • Develop strategies and execute marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisitions across a range of marketing channels including paid search, TV, direct mail, podcasts, Meta, and other digital channels.
  • Particularly deep expertise in paid search is preferred. You should have experience administering accounts at scale, extensive knowledge about campaign optimization, and an ability to discuss tradeoffs associated with different account structures.
  • Continuously consume performance reports and other data to improve marketing campaigns. 
  • Lead a team of experienced performance marketing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive individual and team success.
  • Comfortable building marketing plans from scratch and moving business metrics as you execute them.
  • Able to articulate the business impact of your activities in multiple ways.
  • Capable of operating with a high degree of polish while producing work at a rapid velocity.

Your skills and experience:

  • 10+ years of digital mobile, desktop, and in-app performance marketing with a focus on user acquisition.
  • Experience managing a marketing budget of $20 million or more, with a focus on advertising media.
  • A track record of creating favorable business outcomes directly related to your actions throughout your career.
  • You live and breathe a deep understanding of marketing performance metrics and measurement.
  • Focus on using analysis and insight to drive change and performance improvement.
  • Strong understanding of ad metrics. You are comfortable reporting and building dashboards to show ad performance.
  • An enthusiastic team player who is comfortable working with all department leaders. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to create strong working relationships based on trust and confidence. 
  • Strong communication skills: you can present information (both written and oral) clearly and concisely across all levels within the organization. Comfortable speaking in front of large audiences. 
  • Experience in a dynamic, startup environment preferred. 
  • You have a love for offering travel experiences that change your view of the world. Experience working in the travel industry is a plus.
