Responsibilities

  • Manage full cycle talent acquisition process for all internal roles and accountable for sourcing, pre-screening and scheduling candidate interviews
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team by source high-quality candidates and leveraging all talent acquisition channels - through your network, headhunting, cold calling, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc., employee referrals, social media, networking events, and going outside the traditional methods
  • Accountable for full cycle administration that follows department processes and policies such as reference checks, background checks, and managing employees files
  • Assist in the full-cycle talent acquisition activities for each intern/co-op term including preparation of selection materials, review of postings, engagement with hiring managers and universities, interview scheduling, offer management, and background screening
  • Assist in the planning and execution of student engagement and offboarding events
  • Manage the consolidation of co-op/apprenticeship tax credits and summarizes for Corporate Tax team
  • Reporting & Analytics - running weekly analytics on time to hire, volume of applicants & interviews, InMail return rate, and anything else that would be of interest to the management team
  • Acting as a company ambassador, ensuring amazing candidate experience every step of the way


Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of full cycle in house recruitment experience filling corporate and call center roles with experience in remote recruiting
  • Knowledge of general human resources processes, best practices, HRIS systems (UKG is an asset)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (including Outlook, Word, Excel), as well as database management skills and meticulous attention to details
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication (written & verbal) and client service skills; ability to work effectively with multiple departments and forge strong relationships with managers of every level
  • Well-developed recruitment techniques and practices to source and select top talent, including leveraging multiple talent attraction channels
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, prioritize, and manage a high-volume of tasks, deadlines, and requirements
  • Results-oriented, multi-tasker who is process driven, with high expectations of self and time management
  • Experience in handling sensitive/confidential information
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and continue to achieve high quality results
