Our wonderful not-for-profit client, located in NE Calgary, is excited to add a Human Resources Administrator to their purposeful and passionate team. This individual can work anywhere from 20-40 hours per week with the opportunity for more hours dependent on the company's needs. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role will provide support in areas such as administration, full cycle recruitment, payroll, and act as the designated contact for all human resources related topics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

  1. Support the Human Resources Manager with all department related responsibilities
  2. Act as the main point of contact on all human resources issues and topics
  3. Assist with full cycle recruitment, onboarding/training of new hires, and Health and Safety programs
  4. Support upgrade projects for continuous improvement in key human resources processes
  5. Provide coverage and support in payroll and benefit administration and update the internal databases
  6. Other responsibilities as assigned

Education:

Human Resources Management Certificate or diploma is required

Qualifications:

Successfully complete a criminal background check

Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is preferred

High proficiency in MS Office

Experience with HRIS and payroll softwares (preferably Pay Works)

Working knowledge of employment standards and practices

Experience:

2-3 years of experience in a Human Resources Administration role is required

Excellent communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills

High level of integrity, discretion, and judgment with tact and diplomacy on confidential matters

Strong organization with exceptional attention to detail

Adaptable, flexible, and able to function effectively autonomously, as well as in a team environment

Outstanding time management, able to meet strict deadlines with ease

Flourishes in a fast-paced environment

Accountable, dependable, and trustworthy

Able to shift priorities at any given time and manage multiple conflicting priorities

Base Salary:

$X.XX per hour. Salary based on experience. Free parking.

Work Hours:

20-40 hours per week. Flexible schedule.

Remote Work:

This position is not remote and required to be on-site.
