YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead, you will play a key role in recruiting the best talent for our Canadian divisions by employing proactive strategic sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas as well as being part of a dynamic and supportive recruitment team. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

  • Lead the recruitment process from start to finish, supporting departments in their hiring needs and ensuring the hiring process standards are followed for all candidates;
  • Follow the recruitment screening process to identify the best potential candidates;
  • Recruit, source and present qualified candidates to the hiring managers;
  • Liaise with candidates and hiring managers during all stages of the recruitment process;
  • Lead interviews by using the targeted selection method interviewing system;
  • Ensure a smooth transition from the selection process to pre-employment verifications to the onboarding stage of new employees;
  • Ensure proper follow-ups with stakeholders throughout the recruitment process;
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, etc.;
  • Represent the company and participate in career fairs as required.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or Industrial Relations, or equivalent;
  • 5+ years of experience in a full-cycle recruitment role;
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems, LinkedIn and various other candidate databases;
  • Experience with targeted selection interview methods;
  • Sound knowledge of market trends and best practices;
  • Integrity and confidentiality;
  • Ability to travel between offices and mine sites as necessary;
  • Proficiency in the use of the English and French language as you will be working in collaboration with all Canadian Agnico Eagle groups where French or English is the primary language.

YOUR WORK SCHEDULE:

  • Schedule: 5 days of work, followed by 2 days for rest; a combination of tele-working with presence at our offices, preferably in our Timmins Regional Office. Occasional visits to site may also be required.
